Scaria Thuruthiyil is Professor Emeritus of History of Contemporary Philosophy at the Salesian Pontifical University, Rome. He has a PhD in philosophy from the same university. He has also taught Phenomenology and History of Religions (Hinduism and Buddhism) in the Faculty of Philosophy. He teaches Philosophical Anthropology at the Pontifical St. Bede College, Rome. He is also an invited professor to some of the colleges in India. He is author of many articles and books in the field of his research and studies.
